The basics

Is the demo free? Is the game free? Yes to both. The full game is listed as Free To Play on Steam. The demo costs nothing and needs no request — install and play.

When did the demo come out? The Steam page lists the demo's release as September 28, 2026. The official launch post and a first hotfix followed on September 29.

How much content is in the demo? More than a taste: multiple stage types, a shop, boss fights (the demo showcases Leona, a 500 HP rival), and an ending players have reached and cleared. One player cleared the whole demo in a sitting and rated it 10/10; another described getting as far as "the third boss".

Does it save progress? Is there meta-progression? The developers say the direction is Balatro-style: fresh runs each time, focused on discovering builds and synergies. Unlockable content between runs is "being considered", but no permanent upgrades or checkpoints are confirmed yet.

Is there an endless mode? Requested by players, not announced. When it was asked for directly, no promise was made.

The full version

When does the full game release? Not announced — the store page says "Coming soon". How much will it cost? Free to play. What platforms? Steam (PC) first; the demo runs on Windows, and Steam Deck players confirm it works (switch to fullscreen). What languages? English, Korean, Japanese and two Chinese localizations are listed for the full game.

What the developers have said they are working on

From official replies and patch notes, in their words, roughly in priority order:

  1. Tutorial and in-game guidance — "improving the tutorial and in-game guidance so you can learn the game's systems and strategies more easily is our top priority."
  2. Controller support — planned for a future update.
  3. Bitcoin ball balance — under review.
  4. Dialogue/cutscene content — "on our queue" for the full release.
  5. Score zone system — explicitly still an experiment; they will keep tuning based on runs.
