Balls & Builds: The Drop Guide
Quick answer
Consistent launch force means consistent landings — build around that spot. Bowling balls clear quotas, Bouncy balls combo, and the Bitcoin ball is overtuned and getting rebalanced.
The ball is your only "attack" — everything else exists to make it hit more pegs or hit them harder. Here is what each ball does, how the launch force works, and which builds are carrying demo runs right now.

Balls in the demo
| Ball | Behavior | Notes from players |
|---|---|---|
| Small ball | Light, chaotic bounces | Cheap build-around, combos well in dense fields |
| Big ball | Heavier, hits more pegs per pass | Reliable stage-clearer |
| Bowling Ball | Heavy and fast, plows through pegs | A common pick for "just clear the quota" runs |
| Bouncy Ball | Bounces high, wanders the board | High variance — can pop off or die flat |
| Bitcoin ball | Reportedly overtuned | Top demo ball score of 188,000 with it; a "restart until Bitcoin ball" meta formed and the developer said a balance pass is planned |
Building around your ball
- Bowling Ball + clustered pegs is the simplest "beat the quota" plan: fewer bounces, more direct hits down a stacked lane.
- Bouncy / small balls + shockwave pieces: chaos balls touch more pegs, and Shockwave Pegs add hits the ball never physically touches.
- Cloner Pegs double your drop. One launch can become several balls; effects that trigger "per ball" snowball immediately.
- Sell into the synergy. If a run hands you pieces for a dead plan, sell them and re-buy toward the synergy your balls actually use — everything is liquid.
Benchmarks: what a good run looks like
Scores in this game run from "barely beat the goal" to absurd, so here is a reality chart pulled from demo players and official screenshots:
| Run | Score | Where it showed up |
|---|---|---|
| First clears of the demo | ~45,000 | Player report (cleared the demo on one force setting) |
| Single big ball drop | ~188,000 | Player report (Bitcoin ball) |
| Stage settlement screenshot | 1,340,543 vs a GOAL of 8,000 | Official store screenshot |
| Community flex screenshot | 29,491,926 with a ×16 combo | Steam community post |
The gap between numbers is the point: this is a scoring sandbox. Your first job is survival (beat the goal); chasing multipliers is the endgame.
What the developers said about balance
- Bitcoin ball: "looking into the Bitcoin ball's balance and planning to adjust it" — expect changes.
- Pace: one common request is a faster game (faster effects, more balls flying). The Speed+ setting helps but players say it does not fully fix slowness.
- Rewards when you overshoot: hitting the goal ends the stage, so excess scoring does not convert into extra chips for farming. A player raised this as feeling punished for being too good; no announced change yet.
